Getting Started with EDIconnect
Prerequisites
- Active Azuvio / CRMconnect subscription with the EDIconnect module enabled
- Signed trading partner agreement (ICA / SLA) with your partner
- GLN (Global Location Number) assigned to your organization
- Confirmed access to your EDI provider's or partner's test environment
Do not use production GLNs in the test environment. If you do not have a dedicated test GLN, request one explicitly from your EDI partner — tests with real data can affect production orders and stock levels.
The first recommended message for verifying that everything works is a simple ORDERS with a single product line. If it passes without errors, transport, authentication, and GLNs are configured correctly.
Connection Setup
1. Activating EDIconnect
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → EDIconnect and enable the module.
2. Configuring your identity
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Sender ID (ISA06 / UNB02) | Your GLN or the EDI ID assigned by your partner |
| Sender Qualifier | e.g.: 14 (EAN/GLN), ZZ (mutually defined) |
| Receiver ID (ISA08 / UNB03) | Your partner's GLN or EDI ID |
| Receiver Qualifier | As provided by your partner |
3. Choosing a transport protocol
See Architecture and connectivity for setup instructions for each transport type (AS2, SFTP, API).
4. Testing the connection
Before going live in production, perform a test message exchange using your partner's sandbox environment or the Testing guide built into the platform.
Partner Integration Checklist
- Exchange of GLNs and EDI IDs
- Agreement on the message set (ORDERS, INVOIC, DESADV etc.)
- Agreement on the format (XML or EDIfact EANCOM D.01B)
- Confirmation of transport protocol and credentials
- Completion of the testing cycle (send + receive at least one message of each type)
- Confirmation of the production go-live date
